Group Exercise Class Policies
Remember, all classes are FREE for members! In the event of inclement
weather, the following applies to all classes. If schools are closed due
to weather, all morning classes will be canceled as well. If bad weather
continues throughout the day, please check with the front desk after 1:00pm for
the status of evening classes.
Due to unavoidable situations it may sometimes be necessary to cancel a class. We may substitute classes at times instead of canceling. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
YOGA
This
class integrates body and mind for total performance as an effective means of
achieving body/mind health. Yoga
features strength, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility components, using
music to enhance the experience.
ZUMBA. The new group ex program that is over the top in popularity! Zumba utilizes slow and fast Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away. Try this class!!
PILATES
A yoga-based exercise program that combines yoga positions with toning exercises
and targets the core muscles of the body ie: abs and back.
CORE/STRENGTH CIRCUIT
A
fast-moving, full body resistance training class which will utilize the
“Ladies’ Only” Weight room and the Reebok Coreboard with exertubes and
body bars in the group exercise area. A
GREAT workout!
STEP
AEROBICS
A cardio training class using an adjustable step platform; appropriate for all
skill levels. It is
followed by an optional 30-minute ab and stretch class.
GROUP
CYCLING
This indoor cycling class takes you through a variety of skills using intensity,
speed and hills to simulate an outdoor setting using a music format.
Accommodates all skill and fitness levels.
Shorts or tight-leg spandex pants are suggested.
Bike shorts and stiff-soled shoes or cycling shoes are recommended.
For all levels of ability.
CARDIO
KICKBOXING
This 60-minute class will make you sweat! A moderate-paced, easy to follow
cardiovascular workout that makes you want to yell!
POWER
PUMP
Basic cardio intervals mixed with upper and lower body conditioning
exercises. A total body workout for all levels of fitness.
ABS
A 30-minute class to train all areas of the abdominal muscle.
Some lower back exercises are also performed concluding with abdominal
and back stretches. These classes
follow a variety of 45-minute cardio classes.
Do both for a complete workout and stretch.
This class is FREE to members.
STRENGTH
TRAINING / TOTAL BODY BURNER
A total body strength training class focusing on basic free weight training
techniques. A must for all levels of participants.
REEBOK™
CORE BOARD
An exciting new workout for all levels using the Reebok Coreboard.
It is a combination cardio and core strength class, incorporating balance
with strength, to challenge your body in a new and different way.
